Surya's next movie
As per latest reports, Surya will be playing dual role in his upcoming movie Maatraan. Maatraan is to be directed by KV Anand and an official announcement regarding this project was made recently.

Maatraan Movie Release Date
Surya’s much expected movie Maatraan is all set to be release by April 2012. Directed by KV Anand Maatraan features Surya and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles while music for the film has been scored by Harris Jayaraj. Produced by AGS Entertainment.

Maatraan movie shooting has been proceeding at a rapid pace and almost 70% of the shooting has been completed. The movie has been shot in places like Latvia, Moscow and in Chennai. KV Anand and AGS Entertainment is planning to release the movie by April 2012 making it has the big Summer release. Surya and KV Anand’s previous Blockbuster Ayan was released in April 2009.
